Longfield
Farm was established in 1996 in the sleepy village of
Rathangan in Kildare, the Horse Capital of Ireland.
It is located 1 hour from Dublin Airport, 25 Mins from
Kill International Equestrian Centre, 10 minutes from
the Curragh Racecourse and 10 Minutes from the Irish
National Stud.
Longfield Farm is owned and managed by Derek and Sharon McConnell. Derek has won and placed
in numerous Showjumping Competitions and Horse Trials. He has represented Ireland internationally in both Eventing and Showjumping with much success. Some of Derek's accomplishments include:
